Kids Programming
Kids are always welcome at JCC! We follow the pattern of Jesus when He said "let the little children come to me." As they are the next generation of believers, we make it a priority to involve them in our congregation and work to teach them the good news about Jesus.
Families begin our service by worshipping together. Following the Lord’s supper children are dismissed for two classes which occur during the sermon. Junior Church One is a class for ages 3-2nd grade. Junior Church Two is for 3rd-6th graders. During class, kids study a story from the Bible, paired with games, activities or crafts.
Following the conclusion of the service, parents can pick their children up from the classroom.
Once a month, kids from grades 3 to 12 meet following the Sunday service for a meal, fun and fellowship. Events in the past have included games, a Christmas party, planning for youth Sunday and Bible lessons.

Throughout the year we host special events geared for kids like VBS, youth Sunday and a Christmas program.
This year our youth Sunday included participation from more than 20 kids who preached, prayed, led worship, played piano, sang a special and greeted people as they arrived for service.
Every summer JCC hosts a VBS, culminating in a family celebration on the final night.
We held a trunk or treat in our parking lot in the fall of 2023 and invited all our community to attend.

Your children are always welcome at any of our services, but are you looking for a quiet place to take care of your infant or toddler during a Sunday? We have a mother’s room in the back hallway near our classrooms where you can rock your baby, change a diaper or let them play while you listen to the service via a speaker.
